Just discovered this Canada based drum store a month ago through a Google search and I'm blown away by the service, prices and gear. Even though I'm way in the west on Vancouver Island and they in the east doesn't matter. Drummers, you will not not go wrong picking Dave's Drum Shop for your go to place for all your drums and accessories. Highly recommended.

I've purchased 4 kits from Dave, and too many cymbals, pedals and related items to bother listing. I've bought new, used, and i've traded and re-traded. Safe to say, in a world where everything is available online, dealing with Dave and his staff is always a pleasure. I actually look forward to going to the store and dealing with Dave. You're treated more like a member of a community than a customer, regardless of whether you're 'kicking tires' or walking out with a high end item. Knowledgeable, willing to answer questions or talk music, fair to deal with, and a pillar of the Ottawa drum community. I've never regretted a minute of time or a dollar spent at Dave's.

Went in looking for a snare for my son for christmas, was greeted by a very knowledgeable staff member, who spent the time with us to make sure we purchased something we were happy with, didn't try to up sell us on the more expensive snare, also advised that he was giving a boxing week discount starting today. My son is very happy with his snare, it came in within budget, and sounds great, will only go here now for future drum purchases.

I was looking to replace a broken [snare] Lug Casing. I conducted myself as a gentleman during our conversations. My first call to Dave [10-24-23]: Dave told me he'd look for a [vintage] lug casing on the next day in the a.m.. Fine. Also, as Dave had requested, I sent him numerous pic's of the snare drum & needed Lug Casing ; from many different angle's in order to be most helpful. Next morning [10-25-23] turns into afternoon & no response from Dave. I called him back & Dave says he forgot to look, but then within seconds of having said this to me he'd found one. I said I'd take two if he had them so I would have an extra Lug Casing. He did. I gratefully purchased two from him for $25.00. I called Dave again on [10-27-23]; "No notification as of yet Dave...did it ship out"? "Yes, did I not send you the Tracking#?" "No". "I believe that I mailed this out on [10-25-23]...where did I put that"? "I will send you the tracking info". Well folks, although I was not in a hurry to get these parts, I found Dave's Customer Service Skills to be lacking on many points including the fact that I'd never received any tracking info. At this point, I was grateful to verify that Dave had not gotten lost on the way to the drum store! Eventually, I received the package on [10-31-23]. Of the two Lug Casings, only one of them was a match. I installed this on my snare & it worked fine. I called Dave back on [11-2-23] & informed him that only one Lug Casing was a match. Dave said " I guess I didn't look at it close enough". Folks, I evaluate my experience with Dave & his drum shop to have been a disappointment. Every customer should be made to feel as though they are important. This did not happen with Dave's Drum Shop. You are fired! Have a nice life! ☆☆☆: Dave replied to my [bad] review swiftly. Wow! Dave, where was your enthusiasm as pertaining to my order? My [bad] review brings out your [upper case] "FYI". Don't waste my time Dave. I don't need your inaccurate information. Also, the only thing you are "sorry about" is having received my [bad] review. Note: After I'd told you [politely] that the order was incorrect, you gave me excuses rather than an apology & a solution. I am not mad at you Dave. This is about business ethics. I forgive you but you will still remain perminently fired. Have a nice life! ☆☆☆

Purchaed a Drum kit from Daves Drum shop. The Kit arrived with in 3 days. Delivery was included in the purchase price, and they also gave me a discount. Amazing pack job. Triple boxed with foam liners. Extremely competitive prices. Dave and Grant really cool guys to deal with. Very professional, and knowledgeable about drums.
